we get a lot of different birds to our bird feeder all day long - mostly woodpeckers who are incredible bullies, lol! but i had never seen this blue bird before. hopefully someday soon i'll get a better camera and be able to zoom in a little more...

***light a candle today*** a mama i know online lost her baby, she was about 41 weeks pregnant. :(

poor lucy. got sprayed by a skunk last night. 3rd time since we moved down here last july. now she has to stay outside until sunday when brian gets home and can help me give her a bath. will she ever learn the litte black and white fur balls are not her friends?

when we moved down here bri's parents let us borrow a bunch of their furniture - today ron drove back what we didn't need anymore. we're really feeling settled now in our house, we love it!

made a hat, it's too short, need to fix it...this was made from another skein of yarn i attempted to dye. it turned out so ugly, i thought it would be fine for trying a new hat pattern. but it actually knit up kind of cool!
