bri had spring break this week. ron and barb took the kids to phoenix for a few days and brian worked on building this playground - this was day 1...

had a big bonfire - found out fires aren't all that popular in arizona. even though we had a permit, we got one call into the fire dept about a suspicious fire and several s.l.o.w. drive-bys from curious neighbors - a lot different from alaska!

i planted flowers! pansies actually, my gardening class instructor recommended them because they supposedly like cooler weather and shade - we've got this built in planter in the corner of our front porch, that i'm not even sure gets any sunlight, so we'll see.

is it safe to say spring/summer is here? it's been 70 the last two days - time for playing outside, dirty kids, ice cream faces, barefeet, windows open, etc. ahhhh. :)
